As time goes by and old we grow,
More sage, more burdened, tired, and slow,
Let not the child you once remained
Burn out like candle now un-flamed.
Recall the magic once believed
And all the wonder once perceived.
Hold marvel in a sweet surprise
With mystery need not apprise,
And though the light be faint or dim,
Let not its being douse or grim.
Instead, seek out what fuels the spark!
Ignite anew and drench the dark.
Bring forth the magic now anew.
Permit its wonder to imbue.
